Elect Ashley Cargill for Assistant Director (B), Clerk Division

My name is Ashley Cargill and I am asking for your support and your vote for Assistant Clerk Craft Director (B). I have been a union member from the day I started with the Postal Service where I signed my 1187 in orientation.

I have been a Clerk Craft National Business Agent in the Wichita Region for 6 years. I also served on the 2018 Rank and File Advisory Committee as well as in other roles with my local such as Trustee and Steward. In 2016, I was excited to attend the Empowering Young Workers Workshop and was proud to stand with our members on the Convention floor as the delegates voted to form the Young Members Committee.

Prior to becoming an NBA, I had been elected to 2 terms as the Oklahoma State President. As an NBA, I have arbitrated major issues (TACS, Single Staffing, Maximizations, 204b violations - to name just a few) and also resolved many of these issues outside of arbitration. I have taught stewards at the Great Plains Summer School and have also taught at APWU National Convention and All-Craft workshops.

In addition to my NBA position, I am also a member of the Clerk Craft Contract Negotiations Team. We strive to fight for the best language, rights, and benefits we can for each and every one of our members. We must continue to stand for those rights and benefits we have already earned while also protecting our work within the clerk craft especially now.

I ask you for your support and vote, not only for myself but for our entire Clerk Division Team: Director – Lamont Brooks, Assistant Director (A) – Sam Lisenbe, and Assistant Director (C) – Bob Romanowski. I further ask for your support and vote for the entire APWU Leadership Team 2025.

We respectfully seek your assistance, support,
and vote in the upcoming 2025
APWU National Election of Officers.
