Re-Elect Garrett C. Langley for Assistant Director MVS Division

My name is Garrett Langley and I am currently serving as the Motor Vehicle Service Division Assistant Director. Since my appointment to the position beginning July 1, 2023, I have fought to advance the Motor Vehicle Craft by leveraging the grievance arbitration process and assisting with national negotiations to help obtain a contract in 2024. From the beginning of my time at APWU Headquarters I have been assisting Motor Vehicle Service Craft Director Michael O. Foster with initiating and processing step 4 national disputes and ensuring the remedies for previous step 4 settlements are being implemented correctly and as the parties intended. I am also the lead case officer for article 21 Health Benefits and I have been involved in countless meetings and discussions with the Postal Service regarding the implementation of PSHB. I was appointed to be a national arbitration advocate by APWU National President, Mark Dimondstein, in 2016. I gave 100% on every arbitration I did and never lost a discipline arbitration case as an advocate. In November of 2020 Motor Vehicle Service Craft Director Michael O. Foster appointed me to the position of Eastern Region National Business Agent for the Motor Vehicle Craft. I served as the Eastern Region National Business Agent for the remainder of that term and was reelected to a second term in 2022. During my time as an APWU national officer I have fought to preserve, protect and advance the rights of our membership.
