Re-Elect Jason Treier for Assistant Director (B), Maintenance

Dear Unionists,

My name is Jason Treier, your current Maintenance Division Assistant Director (B). I am a proud member of the Lancaster, Pennsylvania Area Local. I come before you seeking your support and vote to continue to serve as your Assistant Director in Washington DC.

Prior to my appointment to Assistant Director, I proudly served as the Eastern Region National Business Agent for the Maintenance Division. As NBA, I was successful in working with the Regional Coordinator to cancel and mitigate article 12 excessing events that plagued our membership. I also spent years assisting local and state unions with regular training seminars that focused on securing our jobs and enforcing staffing requirements, fighting back against Maintenance subcontracting violations, developing tailored Custodial Line H strategies. Altogether, my efforts and negotiations have resulted in millions of dollars disbursed to Maintenance Craft employees.

As your Assistant Maintenance Director (B), I have been working diligently tasked with reviewing all new staffing MMO's and working with and coordinating assignments for our national staffing advocates to assist local and state organizations across the country ensure the accuracy of their Maintenance Craft staffing packages. I participated firsthand in the last two rounds of national contract negotiations and currently sit on the national safety and health committee, and the national uniform committee. I have always been passionate about conducting the business of the union and I would be honored to continue to work together to provide the best possible representation to our membership.

I encourage everyone to vote for the APWU Leadership team 2025, and to stay Maintenance Strong by electing Director Balogun and Assistant Director "A" Terry B . Martinez. The three of us complement one another with the single focus of keeping the Maintenance Craft well-represented. Our dedication to Maintenance Craft is well recognized by the overwhelming support of our Maintenance National Business Agents.
