Re-Elect Sam Lisenbe for Assistant Director (A), Clerk Division

It has been my honor and privilege to work on the behalf of the Clerk Craft membership of the APWU for many years. Since 2019, I have served as Assistant Director “A”, Clerk Division. The work has been challenging as well as rewarding because I have seen what we have accomplished for the members of our craft. We have worked hard to save, restore and gain work for the Clerk Craft, which is the number one goal of our officers. The Postal Service continues to attempt reductions in our work assignments, but we have been up to the task in fighting back.

I have years of experience at the local, state, regional, and national levels in representing our Clerk Craft members. I was a National Business Agent (NBA) for the Dallas Region, representing Texas and Louisiana, for 18 years prior to my initial election as Assistant Director “A” for the Clerk Division.

These past few years have been exceedingly difficult since the Postal Service implemented its 10-year Plan, as they have made every effort to reduce jobs in the craft and excess our members to other facilities. With the support from Clerk Division NBAs throughout the country, we have held their feet to the fire and demanded compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement. I ask for your support and vote, not only for me but for the Clerk Division team – Lamont Brooks, Director; Ashley Cargill, Assistant Director “B”; and Robert “Bob” Romanowski, Assistant Director “C”. We also urge your support and vote for the entire APWU Leadership Team 2025. Together, we are committed to work for better contractual rights, wages, and benefits for all APWU-represented members.

We respectfully seek your assistance, support,
and vote in the upcoming 2025
APWU National Election of Officers.
