Statement of Support for Tony D. McKinnon, Sr.

It is with great confidence and enthusiasm that we offer our full support for Tony McKinnon as a candidate for APWU Southern Regional Coordinator.

Tony brings a wealth of experience to this critical role, rooted in his deep commitment to postal workers and the labor movement. As the current Chairman of National President Conference and a former member of the APWU National Executive Board and Director of the Industrial Relations Department, Tony has demonstrated unwavering dedication, strategic leadership, and an exceptional grasp of contract enforcement and worker advocacy at the highest levels.

His background includes extensive service at the local and state levels, where he built strong relationships, empowered union members, and consistently stood on the front lines of key issues impacting postal workers. In addition, McKinnon’s political experience has made him a valuable voice in legislative spaces, championing the rights and interests of APWU members across the Southern Region and beyond.

NPC Chairman McKinnon is a proven leader who understands the challenges and opportunities facing our union. His experience, integrity, and vision make him the right choice to lead and unite the Southern Region. We proudly support his candidacy and urge all members to do the same.
